About The Analyst
John D. Deans of Deans Consulting
started in the early 1980's as a computer programmer with Control Data
Corporation, then to J. S. Nolan & Associates as a system analyst and
later with CogniSeis as manager of computer operations in the late
1980's. Most of the 1990's, John was a computer networking consultant
and one of the founding members of Houston's Paranet, a computer network
integration consulting firm. During those years, John became a
Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and later a Cisco
Certified Network Associate (CCNA). As employee number eight at their
small office in west Houston, John worked feverishly with his peers and
helped grow the single office company with eight employees in 1991 to
over 2,000 employees in 23 offices in the US coast to coast by 1997.
John designed, built and managed
computer networks for Amoco, British Petroleum, Tenneco, Enron (did not
enjoy that one), Landmark Graphics, Compaq and many more. In late 1997,
Paranet was sold to Sprint for $375 million and John completed his
Gigabit Ethernet project with then Compaq Computer Corporation a year
later and moved to his family to their Texas ranch.
John then started Deans Consulting, L.L.C. in 1999 as independent
computer networking consultant to bring his extensive enterprise level
experience and service quality to the businesses and residents of
Washington County and surrounding areas.
John is a second generation Certified Graphoanalyst
(#48371G). In the late 1970's, John was taught by his father, Jack M.
Deans a Master Certified Graphoanalyst, how
Graphoanalysis accurately and
distinctly identifies and evaluates personality traits. John went on to
use Graphoanalysis to aid him in
client and employee relations during his 26 year career as a computer
systems analyst and networking consultant. Handwriting Reports is
now a service of Deans Consulting, L.L.C. and available online at
www.HandwritingReports.com.
